As the School Board Representative for the Chuckatuck Borough, I will continue working toward the goal of providing safe, secure, and orderly environments where students can learn, teachers can teach, and everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
SCHOOL SAFETY
During my first term,
I advocated for:
School Resource Officers (SROs) dedicated to protecting our students, teachers, and staff in all 21 schools
Safety, Security & Support Monitors supervising students in the hallways & cafeterias, monitoring building access, and enforcing school policies
I supported implementing:
Advanced Weapons Detection Systems in school buildings
Enhanced Security Lighting
Strengthened Communication Systems
Updated Safety Procedures
Improved Facility Maintenance
Enhanced Security Measures for Buses

Launched the STEM Academy at Booker T. Washington Elementary School—Virginia’s only elementary lab school

Completed the new, state-of-the-art John F. Kennedy Middle School

Received Distinguished School Award for Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering and Biomedical Sciences

If elected to a second term as a School Board Member, I will continue advocating for academic excellence by examining academic data, supporting proven instructional practices, encouraging innovative ideas and opportunities, and holding our division accountable for measurable progress.

Initiated public discussion regarding incidences within our schools
Supported the first forensic audit of our division’s finances—an important step toward ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars and strengthening public confidence in our financial practices.
