Meet Kim

I am blessed to be married to the love of my life for 26 years, and together we have had the joy of raising five amazing young adults. Our family is our heartbeat. While raising our own children, we have also had the privilege of caring for children and supporting families through the Departments of Social Services in both Portsmouth and Suffolk. That same love for children, families, and our community led my husband and me to plant Grace Outreach Church in Chuckatuck in 2025.
 

My commitment to education has been deeply personal. For 12 years, I served in leadership roles with Classical Conversations of Suffolk—11 years as a Pre-K through 6th-grade director and one year as a 12th-grade director—where I had the opportunity to walk alongside hundreds of students and parents in their pursuit of academic success. That experience strengthened my belief in the importance of high academic standards, strong parental involvement, and an educational environment where every student is encouraged to reach his or her full potential. This experience, combined with my passion for supporting children, and my desire to serve our community, ultimately led me to pursue a seat on the Suffolk School Board four years ago.
 

Serving as the School Board Representative for the Chuckatuck Borough has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. I have been deeply humbled by the responsibility entrusted to me and remain committed to helping ensure that Suffolk's students have the educational opportunities, resources, and support they need to succeed. During my time on the board, I have advocated for academic excellence, safer schools, strong partnerships with parents, fiscal responsibility, and greater transparency & accountability in our public schools. 

There is still important work ahead, and I humbly asking for your vote on November 3rd. I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I am eager to continue serving as your School Board representative.
